An alumni of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, New Rochelle resident Anum Bandele bursts with talent at Town House in his position as sous chef. Working closely with Executive Chef Chris dos Reis, he assists with menu planning and execution as well as training all kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques.
Bandele has spent time honing his craft at New York City restaurants like John Fraser’s Michelin-starred and vegetable-focused Dovetail, Manhatta, Union Square Cafe and Gramercy Tavern.
No stranger to Westchester, Bandele began his career cooking at New Rochelle’s popular and award-winning Smokehouse Tailgate Grill first in 2007. During his time there he secured the Best BBQ Title three years in a row from Westchester magazine and has also served as the head chef of the restaurant’s Mamaroneck location.
A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), Bandele can be found on his off days relaxing at home with his wife Gloria and their dogs Filbert and Pepper.
